Annual Meeting

The Garden Valley Historical Society invites you to our first Annual Meeting on February 26 at 6:30 PM at the Garden Valley Library.

Join us for food, community, and a special Reader’s Theatre presentation on the Abbott Brothers murders. We look forward to sharing our recent progress and our plans for preserving the Valley’s history.

We will also be voting on new Board Members.

Ballots:
A ballot is attached and will also be available at the meeting. If you cannot attend, you may mail your completed ballot to:

Please ensure it arrives before February 26.

If you are interested in serving on the Board, please let us know so we can add your name to the ballot.

A redlined copy of the current Bylaws is attached. We will be requesting your approval on the proposed changes.

Pg 2 - Under Article 5 the annual meeting to be in February of each Year

pg 2 - Under Article 5  take out electing 5 replacements - as they are to be staggered

pg 2 - Voting to be at the annual meeting or by mail-in ballot submitted to the voting membership at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the annual meeting.

pg 3 - Article 6 we add a Technical Director as an officer - which will also create a new paragraph outlining those duties.  

pg 7 - Remove Article 15, as we are separate from the Crouch Museum.
