About the Society

The Garden Valley Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, sharing, and celebrating the unique history of our mountain community. We collect stories, photographs, and documents that capture the lives of the people who built and shaped Garden Valley, ensuring that future generations can connect with the richness of their heritage.

 Through community events such as our Generations in the Mountains series, we create opportunities for residents and visitors alike to learn, reflect, and take pride in the past. Our mission is not only to protect local history but also to keep it alive—building connections between yesterday, today, and tomorrow in the heart of Garden Valley.
